Cajna (caj meaning tea) salami received its name in the small Baltic town of Rugenwalde around the middle of the 19th century. The name Teewurst or tea-sausage is said to derive directly from the habit of serving sandwiches made with this sausage during teatime.
Ingredients: pork, pork fat, table salt, dextrose, spices, spice extracts, antioxidant E301, starter culture, preservatives (E250, E251), smoke. 100g finished product is obtained from 152g fresh pork. The casing is not edible.
