Dalmatinac is a hard cheese made of sheep and cow milk. Its taste is somewhat milder, it is slightly softer than the Paški cheese, and it is perfect for all who find sheep cheese to be a bit too piquant. Dalmatinac is our second most sought-after brand, the Paški cheese being the first.
Dalmatinac is often enjoyed as an appetizer with cured meats and traditional products such as Dalmatian prosciutto and Slavonian spicy dried salami (kulen).
Ingredients: pasteurised cow’s milk, pasteurised sheep’s milk max. 10%, iodised sea salt (sea salt, potassium iodate), thickener: calcium chloride, cheese culture, rennet, preservative lysozyme (from eggs). Minimum 45% fat in dry matter.
