Cajna (caj meaning tea) salami received its name in the small Baltic town of Rugenwalde around the middle of the 19th century. The name Teewurst or tea-sausage is said to derive directly from the habit of serving sandwiches made with this sausage during teatime.
Ingredients: pork meat, pork fat tissue, salt, dextrose, spices, spice extract, natural flavourings, starter culture, beechwood smoke. The casing is not edible. 100g of salami is made from 153g pork meat.
